    Just sing!

Don’t worry if it is not good enough for anyone else to hear, just sing a song.

I found out that the efforts to sing during a seminar — even if my voice is not good enough and my tune doesn’t always blend with the music — people still appreciate what I do. They did not pay me to sing, not even to speak. They paid me to help them solve their problems — or find new opportunities. And I use whatever I can to drive a point or to illustrate an abstract concept.

Sometimes, many of us missed the point. There is nothing embarrasing for the “inability” to sing like our favourite singers. There are things we can do better than others. There are things we can do less than most. Just accept that. Let’s not limit ourselves to our perceived limitations. We have to outgrow our mind.

    Sing. Just sing.

    Reflect

Leaders spend too many hours trying to fix problems. They get themselves busy over small things — and find themselves juggling marbles. You know how difficult that is.

Don’t waste your time on small, tactical actions. You need to see the big picture everyone once and a while. You’ve got to strategize. And one way to do that is to pause — and reflect.

Reflection must come after every action. By reflection, we enable ourselves to see the value of what we do. Deep in thought, we offer ourselves the opportunity to dig deeper and find the answers within our core.

I encourage you to find time today and reflect — and pray. We need to find the meaning for every moment.

    Flourish

Choose your environment. That’s the first step if you want to flourish. There are things in life that you do not have to hope for. Because you can choose to grow. And you can choose the place where you want to grow.

So, you want to become successful? Position yourself in an environment where you are more likely to succeed. No ifs, no buts. You’ve got to find your place under the sun — then flourish.
